An hour out of Palmer, AK, along Hwy 1 (aka Glenn Hwy) is the Matanuska Glacier. Micah Guides will gladly take you for an Ice climbing adventure you will never forget! I enjoyed my first trip so much that I went back for another a couple of years later. My second trip was a whole new experience! The Guides are friendly, knowledgeable and experienced.

Groups are small. On my first visit there were six of us. On my last trip up it was just our private party of three! Our guide crafted our experience according to our groups desires and ability. We spent over six hours and loved every minute of it! Especially memorable was lowering down about 60 feet into an ice crevice! Crazy fun.
